Antartica Exploer - Megan

I was on a fancy boat, with my crew, heading towards the freezing Antarctica and my crew and I were at Antarctica, we got our sledge, tied our huskies to a strong rope and went off to start our exciting adventure. The huskies were active! They turned corner to corner, as the snow blew behind us. It was getting dark now and the huskies were getting slower, and slower, and slower. We decided to rest for the night. We found a cave so we gathered up the huskies together and fell fast asleep.

In the morning, we set off for our adventure again. On the way, we saw some Emperor penguins, seals, king penguins, baby penguins and pups. Our huskies were active again! They did have a good sleep. Enough to keep there energy. Then suddenly... Horray! We were at the South Pole! We got out our tents because we were staying here for a month! The days went by and we didn't mind the cold. We helped the animals survive and we huddled with the penguins to fight off the wind. Our huskies didn't mind the cold too.

The day came when it was time to leave. We had a safe trip home, alive, and we never forgot our exciting adventure again.
